Mom's birthday party will be taking
place at one of my favorite
restaurants on her special day of Friday, January 30th ~ It will be us 4
kids (Mary lives in Las Vegas and
doesn't typically come home in
the winter months), and my BIL
(my sister's Brenda's hubby, David)
~ Should be a GREAT time, weather
permitting ~ Congrats to your folks!
My paternal great-grandparents were
first cousins, too ~ I was fortunate to
have met my great-grandmother;
she had been bed ridden with
rheumatoid arthritis for the last 20
years of her life and was cared for
by my great-aunt and her husband
~ I think I was 8 or 9 at the time and
all 4 of my siblings were with us, along
with our folks ~ It was the 4th of July
when we visited, as I can remember
the toys we were playing with at the
time ~ Hope you enjoy what's left of
your day, get good rest, and enjoy
