Good morning Susan 🌻 So far the babies are hanging in there - knock on wood!!! We did get lots of info and supplies from our local feed store, and google.  Ava was here for a few days and happily helped me try to figure it out.  Calling tree service today for some help..  You'd asked awhile ago if my insurance co had raised my rates and at that point they had not but last year they did ask for pictures of my place (apparently they can't be bothered to come out and look for themselves) so I did that for them and this spring they sent me a list of demands that I must do or they'll adjust my rates.  Plus they want a death certificate to remove Rick from our homeowner's insurance (I gave them one last year when I took him off the insurance for his truck and put it in my name but apparently they can't look that up).   GRRR   I've been with the same co since I'm 16.   
Such is life.   Meanwhile, Mom's never-ending list of "it would be nice if I could have... (fill in the blank).   Think I'm about to lose it.  No big deal   haha 😵 Just trying to stay cool today - it's brutal out there already this morning.  I trust you're doing the same!  Sending our best 🐾

Morning sprinkles...you sure have a lot to deal with at the moment, the heat, humidity, and now smoke. I'm glad you have found something to help ease the discomfort of the heat, I know you have been using ice cubes, what about an old fashioned ice pack? They wouldn't melt as fast but may help cool you down. Just a thought. Hopefully you will be able to make it to the beach after DeLyle is finished tomorrow. Kathy should enjoy her lunch with her friend today. She doesn't get the opportunity often to eat with friends, so I'm always so glad she gets to do that.
