Morning sprinkles....thanks for checking in on me already this morning. I just got back from the pharmacy to get some cold meds. Yes Ed left this morning and his mostly consist of meetings and such, so not too hard of a day. So glad dinner went well and you had a good time. Hopefully no lingering effects of your cabbage. I know you will keep me posted on the nieces. What kind of job was James supposed to start....I have a sneaking suspicion that he won't start it So he can use that to keep Amanda feeling sorry for him. I'm fixing to lay down for a bit. Tonight is Bible study and of course the annual Spook soup night. Really not up to it, but Kathy goes all out and I know she enjoys have company for dinner, so I will go and endure. Will get home as soon as I can....up early tomorrow for the Heating and Air maintenance in the morning. I hope you have a good day. Sending my bestie lots of love, hugs and kisses!

Good morning Susan 💙 Your boiled dinner and especially the cornbread sounds so good!  Yes, comfort food!    My houseplants managed to survive the first frost mostly unscathed. Only the Boston Fern had a couple fronds turn black but otherwise all good!  They're all under a large patio umbrella next to the house so I think that protected them. Last night I covered them with little blankies but I don't think it frosted.   Record high temperatures predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday - near 80!  Sounds good to me.  Scheduling today for the demolition people to come in and give us their quote. Continuing to plug away at all the little projects around here.   Have a super-spectacular day!  Love and hugs 🐾☕🍀❣
