Night time sprinkles....I really wanted to keep the baby bird, but I had a peach faced lovebird a few years back and it drove Sis nuts. So I felt that I best put it outside for the bird to live in a natural habitat instead of a cage. And I didn't want Sis whining and carrying on again like she did before. I did go check on it a few hours later and I seen no signs of him. This morning he was on the lowest perch so I think it wasn't long and he would be able to take flight. Last night he was cold and wet, so I think he was hopping on the ground trying to find some shelter. That was a nice story about Tweetie, I'm sure he enjoyed his freedom. I bet you did get attached. Were you able to hold him without him flying away before you released him? We had a parakeet when we were little, and every morning my mom would take her out of her cage and she shared a piece of toast with my mom. She would sit on her hand while mom let her nibble at the toast. Mom was the only one she was calm around. Sis has gotten over being miffed, but she still kind of searches when we go out. I figure by tomorrow she will completely forgotten about it. Curious if James kept Trish all night? I'm sure you will let me know when you know. Like you I wouldn't have let him take her. I hope you had a good day. I'm trying to prepare for the heat wave upcoming this week. It's gonna be brutal. I'm sure I will have water the gardens. Will meet you in Dreamland later....sending lots of prayers, hugs, love, and kisses!
