Happy 4th of July morning sprinkles....rested well last night. Don't seem to be in as much discomfort this morning, so maybe in a few days I will be back to normal. That would be so nice. Glad that you were able to help M get out of the funk he had when he first arrived. Maybe he will take you up on the open invitation but give you some time for yourself as well. Pleased your evening went well. Did he fix your lawn mower yet? I know he didn't get to it on Tuesday. Your plants are all out on the porch....I know you had a deep sigh when it was done...it has been weighing on your mind. Now you have the whole summer to enjoy at the beach. No real plans for the weekend. Ed will be tinkering outside, coming in frequently to cool off. Sis and I will have low key days. Sending lots of love, hugs and kisses!

Good morning Susan 🌻 They're coming back Sat or Sun. Gin has to  work Mon. They like to spend the 4th up there on the Island. It's been quiet enough that I've had time to chip away at some of my own projects and that feels good. The kids are getting old enough they're not as thrilled with hanging out with granny like when they were little.  They've got lots of friends now and so many things to do.  I knew the day would come eventually so I immersed myself in them as long as I could.  Now I'm hoping to train myself to do my own thing.  It's overcast like it could rain right now but I don't think it's supposed to.  Rob Aaron and Connor are coming over later to grill some meats. Rob likes to do fireworks so he went yesterday and got some. We've done this for years but we were all up in the air if we'd do it or not this year.  We always had a big several day party celebrating Rick's birthday and the holiday. So I had his porta potty cleaned this morning and it's ready for action! I'll be setting up my firepit and setting out some lawn chairs this afternoon.  I hope you have a peaceful and enjoyable holiday.  Hugs and rubs 🐾🎆
