Hi Marianne,  days ok, its gone quick and iv done nothing but be on here hunting candy for extreme.
The a/c guy said theres nothing wrong with my unit.  He said its small for the size lounge room. I told him it doesn't reach my bedroom which becomes like an oven. He said he the one i have is top of the line one and will last another 10 years. He said he can put that in my bedroom,  and get the bigger for the lounge room. He's going to send me quotes tonight,  so im going to that. He said he installs hundreds of Hiscense brand, and they come with a 10 year warranty.  A Mitsubishi is $500.00 more,  so i think go with the Hiscense considering i may sell down the track.
He also said awnings and curtains are also the best coolers. My lounge exterior has an awning i can pull down this week,  but my kitchen doesn't,  only the vertical blinds inside.
