I've done nothing all day except the puzzle and I've had the TV on. Earlier I watched an episode of What on Earth and in part of it they took us to Nye County. I thought I know that place, well You do!! Anyway they had photographed an area of the desert from a satellite with this strange concrete cylinder. It turns out that they set off a huge underground nuclear explosion [over 70 times the one that was dropped on Hiroshima] and over 100 miles from where all the other testing was done in Nevada. It was fascinating.  

Hope the finger feels better soon, arthritis is not good, isn't old age wonderful!!

Hi Janet, just a short message tonight I need to get to bed. I'm still not right and have decided to see if I can get in at the doctors tomorrow. D was lovely he sent a message to say he knew I was unwell and did I want Kath to get any shopping in. When I took her a parcel I'd rescued from the post office  she must have realized I was not at my best!

The weather is awful, rain and more rain, we must be sharing yours. It's down to 38 at the moment but expected to go lower overnight, for goodness sake where did the good weather go.
