I saw on the news about the storms and tornadoes, they must be bad for it to be on our main news channels. We're still having nice weather, sunny but with the easterly winds not as warm as most of the country, we made it to 53 but going just a little in land to Sam's made it 4 degrees warmer. 

I'm watching The Yorkshire Vet and he's been operating on a Cockerpoo puppy, it's so cute, it makes me want to have another dog. No, it's not going to happen I don't think I could cope with a puppy these days.

Tomorrow I'll go and see if they still have any of the trellis panels left, not that I know where it will go but Ill find somewhere!

Hi Janet, I had a phone call this morning from my cousin David telling me that there were a lot more garden pots at uncle's. They'd opened the shed and found them and he reckons that there are a lot more at the back that they haven't reached yet. They are filling skip number 3 with rubbish and they've not started on the double garage. Anyway as soon as he phoned I went round to collect them and called Sam to see it she wanted them today. She said to go over and she'd do ham rolls for us. I asked if she had any rolls or ham and she said no. How well I know my niece!. I stopped on the way and bought baguette, ham, lettuce, tomatoes and some milk in case she was short of that! Tessa came and joined us and we had a lovely chat. Needless to say I've not touched the puzzle. I did read a couple of chapters of the book. Oh dear it's not for me, bad language, hand guns and a Winchester rifle, a 16 year old sleeping with an older woman and I only got as far as chapter 4, I'll be taking it back tomorrow. I like a nice 'Agatha Christie' type murder not nasty stuff.

Good morning Janet. We had thunderstorms roll through last night. It was loud that it woke me up and I’m usually a pretty sound sleeper when it comes to storms. The bedroom was lit up by the lightning so bright that it looked like it was daytime. Penny didn’t seem bothered. It had pretty much stopped raining by the time I got up and took Penny out at 6. About 15 minutes after we came in it started pouring again. The sun is out now and it’s going to be warm… 71°. We have to babysit Liam and Layne this aafternoon. I better rest up now before they get here after school!!  Have a happy Thursday 💜
