Chaffinch and FA seed! So Randy is an early riser; isn't it funny how our pets are the rulers of the house...mine are gone now but when they were here I did what they wanted when they wanted. It is nice that we can go to sleep whenever we want or live dangerously and stay up past midnight. :-)

That woman in the car who didn't slow down must have been on drugs, if she'd hit the white horse not only would it have been hurt or killed so would she. Some people shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel of a car.

I did go for a short walk but am very tired today. I has a very bad night last night and just couldn't get to sleep. I still get hot flushes, something to do with the thyroxin I have to take, anyway last night I got one after the other. In the end I almost got up to do some of the puzzle but I persevered and managed about 4 hours. I'll try an early one tonight. I've done some more of the puzzle and should finish it tomorrow if I don't spend too much time at the shops.

Hi Janet, I just managed to delete your message, don't ask I have no idea!!
I was saying we've had another day of drizzle and rain about 49, not too bad and a least there's no sign of the white stuff.

I was thinking about Henry's birthday and realized I should have asked Sam what he'd like. Goodness knows what he'll come up with, at Christmas it was a sailing  boat, I hasten to add he didn't get it nor did he get the assymetric bars he wanted for the last birthday, that boy has big ideas. I do wonder if he puts these things on the back burner and one day they'll raise their heads again. I do have a science kit for him to do experiments, a game and some blow paint pens. According to the box they are for children and using a stencil you blow through a straw thing and spray paint comes out to cover the stencil. I can see it will be fun and I won't be around when it gets used. OMG Sam will probably kill me. Hahaha

Death Valley sounds like a good trip. Will it be super hot this time of year?  I would like to take a trip to the Everglades while we’re here.
