I spent a while on the phone to the council as they do assisted rubbish bin collection for Paul, they take his bins out and as he's in a wheel chair they bring them back to his bungalow. The problem is that for the last 2 collections they've left them at the end of the drive and it's me who has to get them in. Ian was out there and ignored them, in the past I've seen D drive past them so I go and get them. Anyway I called the council and left a message only for a very nice lady to phone back about 5 minutes later full of apologies. I said it wasn't her fault but if she could pass the message to the bin lorry I'd be grateful. We'll see what happens next time.

I did some of the puzzle, I've been working on 'the orange', well this one is orange like the last one was green. LOL

Hi Janet, I never got out to do the shopping, housework got in the way! Since it was dry with a bit of sunshine I changed the bed and got 3 heaps of laundry done and on the line. It didn't stay out there long as about 2 hours later it started to drizzle. I'm lucky I noticed as I was cleaning the bathroom. After I'd brought all of the washing inside and started the drier I finished the bathroom floor and turned to the kitchen. The bathroom was enough but once I'd got the idea of floors I did that one as well. I can't believe how long these things take and how exhausting it all is.

I had a phone call from my cousin Christine who wanted to let me know that after the diamond anniversary instead of presents they received about $1400 donations for Cancer Research which was wonderful.
