Hello Janet. We have a pair of sharp-shinned hawks in our neighborhood that are wreaking havoc. They have killed so many birds over the last month and are non stop screeching. I don’t even know what to do about it. Hawks are a protected bird so I’m not sure who to even contact to try to have them relocated. I don’t know if that’s even a thing. We took the kids to see the new Superman movie. They liked it and had a good time. 💜

How did the dermatologist appointment go, hope it went well. Who knows you may be looking 20 years younger.

On my way home this morning I checked the charity shop but it's still not open, I now doubt they'll bother until next week. I'm wondering if they're going to get 'someone' in their organization to open it officially.

I dropped by Mark's as well with 2 packets of biscuits and the 'Americanized' laptop. He showed me how to bring it back to English spelling if it does it again and said that it was the easiest biscuits he'd ever earned. lol  He also said that in August he won't be opening Saturdays, I think this is all part of getting ready to retire, just like Andrew who no longer opens Mondays. What will I do when they're not about for me to call on. I don't want to think about it.

Hi Janet, it's been just under 70 with humidity of 74% and this afternoon we had a couple of light showers, hardy enough to wet the ground. I finally got to see Andrew this morning and he thinks I might need a new key and barrel. He asked his wife who works in his office to contact Ford to see what I'll need, he said if it's what he thinks it could be it could take 4 weeks to come from Ford. All I can say is it sounds very expensive. He put some WD40 in it, which is a very fine oil. It works better but it's not right. He said to let him know ASAP if it's not right. I'll take it out again in the morning and if it catches I'll give him a call to get what's needed.

This afternoon Lorraine, the American lady, who lives down the road came to see me with some flowers, sweets and shower gel. We had a cuppa and a long chat. This evening my cousin David came with a card and gift so I've not done much of the puzzle. Never mind it's not going anywhere and I'll finish it sometime!
