Wow, thanks for the update on the driver, no wonder she had an accident, but to be found dead that's awful. I think we were so innocent the worst I ever got offered as I grew up was a cigarette I'd never heard of other drugs. I can remember when I was in my early 20's there was a poster put up on the wall at work with pictures of all types of illegal drugs, we were all the same no one knew what they looked like until then.

All I can say is what with a dog and a rose bush you have your hands full. As for the umbrella when I was married we would often go to Cornwall on holiday and take the dog and a huge 'fishing' umbrella so he could lay under it on the beach and not get too hot. So I pass no judgement on you and the rose bush!

I broke up the tractor puzzle and have sorted another one, strangely this also has a tractor on it and I've done the edges and this time all the pieces were there, all I need to do now is fill in the middle bit. lol

Tomorrow or Tuesday I need to go to the library as my book is due back this week. It will depend when Alan gets here as they close on a Monday afternoon, maybe I could go out before he gets here. I also need to get a key cut for the conservatory. I don't know if I told you I managed to lose one the day I did the street sale. I wonder if I laid it down in the shed but I can't see it anywhere and don't like just have one.

D returned home for about 5 minutes this afternoon and went off again, this will be the 3rd week he's been away. He posted on FB that he's on holiday next week so maybe he'll be home then. We both seem to have 'odd' neighbours, how's yours these days?

Hi Janet, I've had a very lazy day. It's been dull and 61 but without the wind it was nice enough for me to spend time cutting the grass and weeding a bit. I mustn't overdo it as Alan might like to pull up a few tomorrow. Hahaha I'm thinking of getting him to clear the back gutter as the water butt is still half empty and it should be full and overflowing. I also want him to trim the large bush Fuchsia and Camellia between Daryn and myself. Alan will need to be really careful or the bits will drop over the fence in to D's newly prepared and pristine back garden, he will not be happy if he comes home and finds twigs laying there. Alan won't like being careful he likes to get his hedge trimmer out and have it done in seconds then I clear up after him! NO tomorrow will be a secateur day.
