I had a call from the dental surgery this morning asking if I'd go back and have the crown fitted. I told them no way could I go as I was not well so they've made an appointment on December 9th. I'd be horrified to get in the chair and start to cough, she agreed!!

I spoke to the glazier about the front door and he hopes to send Craig to fix it on Wednesday. I told him now that I know it's the letterbox I'll just put a towel below it until he can come. He did say that it should be sealed so I guess they'll put some sealant round it and all will be well.

I've not touched the puzzle again as I've been binge watching a serial called Murder before Evensong, it was taking up a lot of space on my box and tomorrow I'm making a start on Christmas present wrapping for the nuns, which will take some time.

Hi Janet, it's been about 45 today but it's feeling much cooler still we didn't get the rain they forecast. Alan didn't come even though it was dry so I think I'll need to phone him to see if he's ever coming. I suspect he's finished his gardening work and is moving back to his handyman jobs for the winter.

I'm still feeling a bit rough but I don't think it's RVS as I had the vaccine earlier this year. As I finish the antibiotics this evening I may give the surgery a call in the morning to see if I can speak to the nurse I saw or a doctor to get some more.

Pippa came this morning so my feet feel lovely and comfortable. I did go out and get some milk as I only had enough left for a couple of cups, almost a disaster. lol
