I did my job of the day and found a diamond anniversary card. I went to the little card shop not far from me. They're open everyday except Christmas and the couple who run it are in their 80's and I never go in there without there being other customers in the shop. He tells me if I don't come here what would I do. They do have other people to work shifts as it opens at 8 am and doesn't close until 10 at night. The funny thing is that Ian, the owner, once dated my cousin Christine who the card is for, they were 15. Knowing her I bet if she'd married him she wouldn't be helping out in the shop at 80. lol

Hi Janet, I hope Suzi has a great birthday, bet you can't believe she's 50 already.   
It's been cooler, 65 but so windy it feels much colder less than 60.

The lock man came early, he was here about quarter to 9, I will add I was about and doing my hair. It didn't take him long only about half an hour and as yet I don't have a price as the lady in their office is off on a Monday.

I woke up with back ache, goodness knows what I've done all I do know is it hurts and I need to be careful how I walk. I'd promised Sue and Ian I'd put their rubbish bins out as they're being collected tomorrow morning. I managed one them and as I was struggling with the second one Kath came out from next door saw I wasn't doing too well and did it for me. Lovely lady was telling me D is going away tomorrow but she's staying on here with her dog, apparently he asked her to. I know she has a job but she was here all day so maybe she's on holiday too.

Good morning, Janet. It gets dark just after 8 now. I don’t like daylight saving time. I prefer standard time and wish they would just leave it. I find that all summer I feel off with my mornings. I have such a hard time getting up even after sleeping good. Once we go back to standard time in the fall I have so much energy and feel refreshed when I get up. I do believe is messes with my circadian rhythm. I have to admit that I didn’t know who Charlie Kirk was before this. I’ve never heard of him nor saw any of his videos. I’m shocked at the amount of people celebrating his death. I don’t know anything about his beliefs or opinions but I do know that just because you don’t have the same opinions or beliefs as someone it doesn’t justify them being gunned down and murdered. The world has gone completely mad. I sometimes wonder what we look like to other countries with the craziness that we have going on. 🤦🏻‍♀️My Mom always used to say never talk religion or politics because we all have our own beliefs and opinions and nothing will change that. That little piece of advise she gave me many years ago has stuck with me. I hope you have a great start to the new week. 💜
