Hi Janet. Rainy day here too. 

You're going to have the lake at Death Valley again if the rain keeps up. They are threatening us with snow, gosh I hope they're wrong.  Sorry the wrist is still playing up sounds like another Aleve job to me. I keep taking paracetamol at least it keeps some of the aches and pains at bay. I got the video on messenger and sent a reply, I hope it's working again.

I'm supposed to be going out with my cousins on Friday but unless I feel a lot better tomorrow I'll cancel it. I spoke with Sheila this evening to see how Guy was getting on with his leg. He says it's OK but he's got no appointment to get it checked and tomorrow is 2 weeks since he was sent home and he's not heard anything and seems content to do nothing. I'd want the stitches out and someone to check it was healing OK. Aren't men odd she says she could phone up but is reluctant to do so as he might not like it.

Alan didn't go to Sue either and she wasn't surprised, I don't think she's expecting to see him again this year.

You made me smile with having to wash away the dog dribble, it reminds me that the last time I was at the hall 'Daisy', the Newfoundland, dribbled all over the cuffs on my raincoat so I had to wash it. It's amazing how doggy they can make things smell.
