OMG Lemon pie with whipping cream sounds delicious, hope you enjoy it.

I loved the pics Sandy painted, water colours are very difficult and the snowman was fun and so seasonal.   

With all the rain we had overnight I noticed there were puddles in my garden where it's usually not so wet. When I checked I saw that when Alan, the gardener, had cleared the gutters he'd left the plastic end cap off and it was laying on the ground, another job for him to do when/if he does come.

Tomorrow I'm going to visit Auntie, I was worried about her last week as she was so tired and I'm wondering if she's a bit anaemic. She went to the hospital today to have the place taken off her leg. Richard took her early this morning so I'll take a few flowers to cheer her up.

This morning I steam cleaned the kitchen, bathroom and lobby floors then decided if it wouldn't stop raining I'd do the Christmas cards. Fortunately I'm fine where I am although there's been flooding around us.  I was trying hard  to get on with the cards when Maggie phoned and we were talking for over an hour. I then cooked some lunch and after I'd eaten I went to see my cousin Christine to take their families cards. Since I'd left them out when I got home I finished the cards and wrote a couple of letters. What a relief to have finished them. Now I'll need to post about 25 and hand deliver the rest. Our postage rates are crazy, they were saying if you had enough to post it would be cheaper to take a day trip abroad and post them from somewhere like France or Holland. I somehow don't think it would be worth all the effort. The 25 I have to post will cost me $32 which is a crazy amount when I can buy 24 cards for about $5.

I haven't touched the puzzle today but if we have another wet one I'll do some tomorrow
