Went to visit my Mom on Sunday.  Wish i was closer.  Driving nearly six hours round trip just to visit for a couple of hours is tiring.

  Evening greetings on a stormy night - the spring storms have started.
There are spring concerts happening about twice a week now. I love not needing  to help behind the scenes. And I can spend time chatting with neighbors.

Yes the school is open, it's a special one for problem children. There's almost as many teachers as pupils. When it was built there were a lot of people who didn't want it near them. They brought a petition for me to sign to say I was against it. I told them I had no problem as the children would be supervised more stringently than 'normal' school kids and I couldn't see them making any trouble. I was right, to the best of my knowledge it's been fine. I must make the effort to go and look at the sand, I'm intrigued by what they will do with it. I'll have to keep my eyes open to see if anyone comes to use it.

I'm watching the Traffic Cops catching American speeders, at the moment the Clifton police are in New Jersey on Route 21. They've just stopped a chap for no licence plate and 3 cars on the far side going the other way have crashed in to each other trying to see what they were doing. Oops.
