Carole was pleased with the puzzle and not bothered that there was a piece missing. I've told her the next puzzle I'm doing she can have when she comes in December. With a little luck I'll get it done and will start a wasjig for when Maggie gets here Sunday.

I had the RSV jab this afternoon and to be honest I can't feel where it went in. Since it's a new type of vaccine she said to report if I have any problems, not that I expect any!

Tomorrow I should be meeting Gwen for a cuppa and a wander round the garden centre that's if she can get her landline sorted. One day it works and the next it's dead and they can't seem to find out what the problem is. After 5 weeks it's driving her crazy, she says she's moving providers once it's sorted. I think I'd move now and let the new people sort it out.

Hi Janet, yes I am looking forward to seeing Maggie, it's been a bit longer this time, we do talk on the phone but it's not the same.

Carole came and cut my hair, she was a bit late and I was wondering if she was OK. Her husband has Parkinson's disease although she says she's noticed he's not as good as he was 2 years ago but he's still doing reasonably well. She's 59 this year and I wonder how much longer she'll be coming, I assume while he can manage she'll keep working until she gets her government pension at 67.

I have my prescription meds brought to my home, I pay for the service but when the man came yesterday I forgot to give him the money and he never asked. When I checked them I found they'd put the wrong strength of one of the tablets so I had to go to the pharmacy to get it sorted. Well if I'm going there no way will I pay them now. The pharmacist only had 76 of the tablets 36 short of the prescription so I'll need to go back in a couple of days to collect them. I'm so pleased I didn't pay!
