Surprize, surprize I've made great strides with the puzzle and am catching up with my recorded programmes. I also read a bit and played solitaire on the laptop. I'm not used to doing nothing but it was too hot to do anything much other than drink fluids. How you survive with those temperatures is beyond me, we don't cope with them as this country is usually more temperate. Apparently the hottest day where I am will be Friday when they're saying it will be 90, OMG what a good job I have my puzzle, book and TV ..expect more complaints. LOLOL

Tomorrow I'll go to the dentist and get the milk and drop off a few things at the charity shop. 

I loved the pictures of Randy with his new worm, he looked like he was having a fine time, bet it's got a hole in it by now. lol Nice that he enjoyed his treats, he doesn't know he's 8 at heart he's still a puppy.

Hi Janet, it's been the hottest day of the year so far fortunately it's only been 80 here feeling like 84 with 80% humidity, inland has been hotter. This morning I ventured out to feed the birds, top up their water and water the tomatoes...the slugs killed the bean. I didn't go out again until this evening to put weed killer on the Bath stones in the front Garden, I give up trying to pull them up and leaving the roots under the weed suppressant fabric. I sometimes wonder why it's called that but I suppose without it the garden would be full of weeds.

Since I wasn't going anywhere I decided to clear a couple of drawers in my bedroom. I switched on the air con and set to work. Why did I bother, let's face it I put back most of what I took out so it was rather a waste of time!
