By the way I'm not sure about attaching a picture to an email. The pictures are on my phone and for some reason I can't get or send emails from it so I always use the laptop. I'll have a little play but am not promising anything. Between the 2 of us we're not doing too well with all this tech stuff and the older I get the worse it is. lol

It's going to be a lot of driving as I'm taking them both. I'll need to pick up Sheila and drive over to collect Sue then bring them back to the crematorium. Afterwards Sheila has said if there's a wake she won't go to it, which will mean taking her home then on to where ever the wake is and afterwards take Sue back to the convent and get myself home. I've worked out it will be about 3 and a half hours driving if there's no hold ups! The crazy thing is I've only ever spoken to Sylvia once about 6 years ago so can't say I even knew her!!

I loved your little bit about defrosting in the microwave, I thought it was just me,  why is it these days that there are no instructions with anything you buy. I assume we're all supposed to go 'on-line' and look things up. I know my friend Sheila won't as she doesn't use her laptop anymore, she says at 86 nearly 87 I'm not doing it. Fortunately she has a son and Anna to do it for her.

Hi Janet, sounds like you had a good day even if you didn't come home millionaires!

Pippa was here at just gone half 8, that girl is always early, she says it will be 9ish but now I know what to expect. If she can get me done early it sets her up for the day if she gets caught in traffic then she'll have 20 minutes to spare. I don't mind as I was out early, did a little shopping and was pleased to get home. Although they say it's been 50f today the wind chill was spiteful making it feel more like 40 and naturally tonight it's raining again with more forecast for tomorrow.

I spoke with Sue, the nun, who told me her friend Sylvia who lived opposite my friend Sheila and died a couple of weeks back has her funeral on the 16th March. Her son has only just sorted it out. It seems a long time but isn't unusual these days.
