My car insurance is due in May and like yours it went through the roof last year. I think it's due to all the uninsured drivers on the roads that we have to pay more. They are often the youngsters as their insurance can cost more than the price of a car so a lot of them don't bother to get it. Like you I've only had one claim in my life and that was a small one, but it makes no difference. I did shop around and found a company that was slightly cheaper but as I get older that becomes more difficult. I had my home with mine too but it was still cheaper to move it. It will be interesting if they will give me a better rate if I go back to them next year.

All the cousins on my mum's side of the family are to go to my uncle's house tomorrow, he's the one who died a couple of months ago. We are all supposed to choose something we'd like to keep, I can't imagine there's anything I'd really like. She had over 140 Royal Doulton lady figurines, I said I'd help encase them in bubble wrap to send to the auction rooms, so that will be my job tomorrow.

Hi Janet, I got the blood test done this morning and was surprised she took 2 tubes of blood . Apparently they didn't just want my sugar level but the thyroid, cholesterol and kidney function too. It will be interesting what the results will be. I have another appointment with the nurse next Thursday and no doubt she'll tell me all.
I'm not sure how it happened but I was so early round the shops today yet came home at my normal time, I think I just walked slower or further as I did over 10000 steps, gosh at this rate I'll be really healthy.

I did some more to the puzzle when I got home but have decided that neither of my nieces would like it as it's a bit difficult, never mind I can take it to the church hall and someone there will buy it.

Have you made your call to the dermatologist, hope everything is OK. I should see Auntie tomorrow so will ask if she's heard anything about her leg.
