The pigeon was still there when I got up but after I'd fed them it disappeared so I thought it must be better, then this evening I glanced out to see it back sitting on the fence. Poor little thing, it was pouring with rain and it was trying to get under the eaves of Paul's house which are next to my fence.

I spent some time doing the puzzle and realized I've not sent you a pic of the one called Rest and Relaxation, I'll do that next.

I phoned the surgery because one of my appointments was on the same day as my cousin Christine's diamond wedding anniversary. Since I'd rather go there than have a jab I phoned up to cancel it.

Hi Janet, it's been very wet although the southerly wind has kept it feeling warm about 70. We needed the rain my grass had turned brown and is already greening up, I'll certainly need to cut it once it's dry enough.

I've not been out other than into the garden, it really wasn't nice enough. Carole came and we had a catch up, she was telling me she'll be 60 in a couple of weeks. I did ask how much longer she'll keep working but she's happy to carry on as her customer base is getting smaller. She no longer takes on new customers and many of her regulars are in their 80's or 90's she even has one of 102 OMG I'll never make to that age. Apparently she's better than many of the 90 year olds. Carole's hubby has Parkinsons and she says she likes going out and in another 5 years when she looks to retire she thinks she'll only have to work 1 to 2 days a week which will be great.
