"Open your heart." Words of wisdom sprinkles--XO!

Hi Janet. Last night was a little better with Piper. She slept for 4 hours before waking at 2am. I got up and put her on the puppy pad, put her back in the crate and went back to bed. Did the same thing at 4 am and then Larry got up with her at 5:30… so she is improving. She seems to pee a lot and it’s hit or miss with the puppy pads. Sometimes she runs right over to it and other times she squats and goes wherever she is🤦🏻‍♀️. I want to take her outside to do her business, but it has gotten pretty cold here and she only weighs 2 pounds and every time I have taken her out she has been shivering so bad so I decided to do the puppy pads and gradually work our way to outside as she gets bigger and can control her bladder a little better. I will just bring a puppy pad with me outside and set it on the grass and put her on there and then gradually not use the puppy pad. I’m not going to lie, there are sometimes that I am second-guessing getting another puppy. I do know that it is going to take time and probably before we even realize she will be on the same level as Penny. I hope you had a great day. Enjoy your weekend. 💜
