Tomorrow first thing I'm picking up my new glasses so I'll need an early night as my appointment is 8:50 and I'll need 20 minutes to find a parking place!

I've done a bit of the Wasjig but found leaning over the board played the hip up so I've put it aside and did some reading and now this evening I have the Antiques Roadshow on.

Daryn returned from his weekend away in Blackpool then went out again almost at once so I guess he's gone to see Kath.

Hi Janet, it's been a nice day 53 and dry, I'm looking at the poor garden and think it needs rain. I did a couple of loads of laundry and it got line dry, then set about filing away a pile of bills.

I didn't go out to shop but cut the grass and picked up more blossom from the camellia. Bending made my hip play up so I decided best to give it a rest. I'm sure it's where Eden manipulated it and all the clearing from the freezer disaster.

After that disaster I have another problem, the front drain, water is not going away as fast as it should so I'll have to get in touch with someone tomorrow to get it fixed. It never rains but it pours. I'm hoping it is covered with the gas board and my heating insurance. If not my household insurance should cover it, but the excess with that could be expensive.
