Good morning Janet. Thanks for the GD. No sign of rain any time in the near future. It's odd to have heat this intense lasting so long. Usually after a few days there's a thunderstorm to break it up a bit. Now I'm hungry for roast chicken and it's not even lunchtime yet 🤣 xx

If the forecast is right I may go out and visit auntie tomorrow as I haven't seen her for a week and I'll try the library again. I'm having problems logging in as it won't accept my password so I'm thinking if I go in to the library they can sort it out! My attitude is they deleted me now they can reinstate me. lol

I may even get to bed by 12 if I send this now, have a good day hugs   xxx

Pippa was early as usual and left here at just on 4, she had a couple more stops before she'd finished. I felt sorry for her on her motorised bike with all the gear she has to take with her, it must be tiring. I've noticed that she and Carole come very close together and tomorrow Carole will be here to cut my hair and in 6 weeks time they're both coming on the same day.

I'm still watching the World War 2 with Tom Hanks, this one is about the Normandy landings and D day, I suppose I'm fascinated because my dad was there. I just looked up to see how many episodes there are as this one's 13, there's another 7 to go!

Hi Janet, we're still 80 with 82% humidity, it's exhausting and inland is worse, you're so right it's the humidity that's the killer. If the forecasters are correct it should be cooler tomorrow 72, fingers crossed they've got it right.

I changed the bed first thing and line dried everything. I put out a load of towels and they were dry within an hour,. Since I don't iron my bedding I brought it in and just put it away, that doesn't happen very often.

I did some of the puzzle and had a disaster, I was moving it out of the way as Pippa was coming and managed to tip it on to the floor. Never mind I picked it up and started again, it's going to take a while!
