❤   thank you for your visit!  ツ mallard - thanks!  I hope you get to have your Pinkbox Donut soon!  We are having such a nice visit - George is such a cheery little chappie.  It was raining here this morning so the little ones and their parents went swimming at the rec centre and had a very good time.  I have managed a 1 km walk this morning so I am improving slowly!  I wondered if I could reach 10 km by the end of the summer as a goal...crossing fingers and toes!

Another job for the morning is to cut the grass, I can't believe how fast it's growing. All the new seed I planted is now 2/3 inch long, it's gone crazy.  I saw Sue and Ian today and she was showing me round their back garden. They've put in a lot of new plants and he was complaining about how fast their back grass was growing. She was saying that their dog, Lucy, is 5 years old. I have no idea what she is but she's tiny and looks like a little poodle puppy. Sue says they can't go away very often as they have no one to leave her with. I don't know if it was a hint but all I said was that's why I don't have a dog, although I love them they are a big tie and you can't just abandon them for a week or even a day. In an emergency I would take care of her but I think they know someone called Pete who does take her occasionally.

Best get ready for bed.

Hi Janet, I've done very little today, I dusted the lounge, did the laundry and hung it out as it was lovely and sunny, I also spent a little time in the garden. I finished the puzzle [pic to follow] and must select another to start tomorrow as I'm seeing Maggie on Tuesday and if she hasn't one started I usually take mine with me. I phoned earlier this evening but she was out so I hope to contact her in the morning to double check Tuesday is still on. I know her hubby has been having tests on his knee and they could be going to see one of the doctors so before I leave I'll make sure she's there. Tomorrow I also need to get her some flowers and put some fuel in the car, I don't want to run out on those little country roads near hers.

The first car I had was an Austin Mini in fact over the years I had an aconite [purple] one then a champagne followed by a black one as you may have guessed I loved them.lol
