Daryn came home this evening and set off some fireworks and Kath was there watching. I heard the noise so went outside to see if I was hearing things or if they were real. I suppose it's because I don't bother with them it seems odd that a man of nearly 60 does, or maybe it's just the little boy in him.

Great news about the win like you say it will pay for Christmas. I saw in our local paper about 3 weeks ago a local girl won over $1,300,000 on line gambling. I think if I'd won over a million I wouldn't be advertising it in the paper. 

If it's fine tomorrow I'll go to the library to return the book I meant to do last week and also to return some slippers I bought today from one of our supermarkets and they're a bit small. They say your feet get bigger as you get older, I guess they're right. lol.

Hi Janet, I was seduced, well that's the only thing I can say! I was at the hall and this lady walked in with a pile of almost new puzzles. There were several HOP ones with the odd shaped pieces and a lot of others. I did try to look the other way but you know what it's like, I'm weak, if you'd seen them you'd have been weak too. I 'only' bought 3 and they cost about $7 for all of them so it would have been criminal to walk away and they are sold for charity. I hope you're impressed by my excuses, my only problem now is finding somewhere discrete to put them. LOLOL

It's been 60 today so when I got home I decided it might be a good idea to cut the grass then if Alan comes, yes if Alan comes he can do the edges. I think that may be wishful thinking as they as saying we have an 80% chance of rain on Monday so I'm not holding my breath still at least the grass is under control.

Happy Saturday! I hope you are having a great day. We are getting wiser in our thinking. It has been unusually nice here. Most outside stuff has been. A wise thought!!! We put Christmas lights on our bushes,not turned on yet. We usually freeze and do it in December.  I also am in a fit of organizing the closet in the entryway. I need to be better on doing stuff!!   Lizzy is managing on her meds. I hope Randy is feeling good today!    xx
