D must still be doing the kitchen as he and his lady friend, Kath, came home together this evening. I hope he gets it finished before he has to go back to work.

Tomorrow I'm going to phone the glazing people and ask when they can come back and replace the door lock. You're right it is old, probably about 20 years or so and it does lock to keep the bad people out!  The glazing man put oil in it but it's made no difference so it's best to get it sorted.

The boaster the aerial man fitted means that I can now pick up over 50 more channels, not that I want to watch most of them but it's nice to know they're about if I want to.

Tell that pretty boy of yours { I don't mean Don} not to eat the S'mores. lol

Hi Janet, I just managed to delete your message obviously it's past my bedtime, well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. LOL

Sue and I had a good day, we had lunch and she had a little ordinary shopping to do then we hit the charity shops. Normally we're lucky to find one thing between us but today she found 2 new white blouses that she can wear under her habit. Then she found a book by one of her favourite authors and some card making things. Both she and the other nun, Sheila, make most of their own cards so the blanks and envelopes are like gold dust to them. I will admit I found a wasjig which found it's way in to my car but I did leave two other puzzles on the shelves even though I was sorely tempted. LOL

We came back here and had fresh cream cakes and raspberries and ice cream. I like to spoil her as they don't have so many treats like that at the convent.
