I then noticed men 2 and 3 had gone away leaving man number one sitting on the lift which was now at ground level. One hour later  he was sitting there when man number 4 arrived and went up and had a look, 2 and 3 returned and number one disappeared.  I went out shopping and left 3 men with 2 vans to fix it. Number one had already left in the 3rd van. So now we've had 4 men, 3 vans to change a bulb!!!! Hahaha It's now dark and it's working so far ....

After all that I only spent about 30 minutes getting some milk and decided I really didn't need anything else so came home and got on with the cat puzzle. Gosh my life is all go. LOL

As you can tell I've had nothing much to do today apart from a swift vacuum through and a little laundry. Tomorrow is bed changing day, that will keep me out of mischief.

Hi Janet, I had an interesting morning. If you remember I've had an on going 'thing' with the highways division of the council about the street light outside my bungalow. When it first stopped working I reported it and after 2 visits a month later it worked for one night went off too early and never worked again. I reported it again and nothing happened so 2 weeks ago I reported it yet again. I just wouldn't let it go because when I come home and it's dark I can't see to put my key in the lock. Well this morning 2 men turned up with a mobile lift. One went up and looked at it then came down again and a 3rd man turned up. They had a long conversation and man number 2 went up and had a look at it and started to 'do' something. At this point I needed to go to empty my rubbish in the outside bin and on my way back I spoke to them and said I was pleased it was being fixed. Man number one wasn't so sure it would be done as it was proving a 'difficult repair' and I didn't help by saying Oh, I thought it just needed a new bulb. At that point I considered it best to go indoors.
