My back is a bit better today and that's another reason to walk, I'm a bit frightened of seizing up, like you say this old thing is not good. I brought the rubbish bins in for Ian and Sue, Daryn, Paul and myself so I had some exercise doing that. lol

I had a long chat with Gwen, who I've not seen in a while. I suggested we might go to a play at one of our local theatres which is on in November, we've already got tickets for one next month and she seemed keen. We used to go out a lot together but since her partner has retired and had a bout of really bad health I hardly see her. He's much better and I do understand and we still catch up occasionally by phone.

Hi Janet, it's been dry and cloudy, definitely getting towards autumn another 65 but feels like 55 plus the sunset is about 7 in the evening. I'm going to see Maggie in a couple of weeks and it will be dark by that time.

I had the lock man come out again and it seems better. he was really nice and said if it causes any problems just to give them a call and he'll come back. He thinks it's because I had the seals done and they're fatter than the old ones so the door takes more 'pull' to close it.

I did go for a short walk just to keep my steps up but was pleased to get home and get on with the puzzle and do some reading.

Good morning, Janet. Thanks for the toad and pinky. I had never heard of Turning Point USA before. I’m not sure if I have been living under a rock or what but nothing of the sort has ever come across any of my social media. I guess it’s probably because of what you are interested in. Most of my stuff comes up with recipes and babies or puppies and kittens….lol. I had a dentist appointment this Thursday at 11, but they called me late yesterday afternoon and asked if I could come in then. I’m so glad that I did because now that is over and I don’t have to stress about it. The dentist is one of my least favorite appointments to go to. I had to have a new crown put on my tooth. It cools down at night so mornings are on the chillier side. It warms up quickly though and by afternoon it’s perfect. This last full week of summer is turning out to be a beauty for us over here on the north east. I hope you have a great day.💜
