One of my pet peeves is that supermarkets don't grit their car parks, it's ridiculous! Surely they would be held responsible if someone slipped and hurt themselves? All for the sake of some salt! Glad you made it there and back safe and sound. The rain has started here but the temperature is still above freezing so I'll take that! Good evening Annie I hope you have enjoyed your day despite not being able to get out.  I hope you will be able to get a food shop tomorrow.  We had rain last evening and the overnight frost was a lot lighter last night, my grass has thawed out.  It was nice for me and Pippin to walk this morning on paths that weren't icy.  I popped to Tesco for a mooch about and some essentials and then finished my washing.  I've heard schools in Scotland and Ireland are closed, I bet the children are having great fun in the snow.  I hope we don't get the storm either, there is still snow and/or wintry showers on our forecast but so far we have just had the odd flurry.  I am going to do one more more return and then I am off to bed.
