Rylee came home on Friday with his Best in Show win and resumed ruling the roost. At one point yesterday someone came to the door and he started to growl and bark at them - from under my desk. I reached under the desk and grabbed him either side of his head and looked him in the eye and told him "NO don't growl - you hush now!." I let go and he lay down for a few minutes then he left the room and I heard him go down the stairs and get into his crate by the front door. He stayed there sulking for the next hour or so. When he came out he was quieter but when I went to the closet to get my coat the barkers returned. Happy Monday.

Hi Vivette. You are an exceptionally creative person, everything you create looks wonderful. I understand that you miss the dynamics of dance classes, but you have so many other things to do. I am sure that the multiple activities you carry out will not leave you time to miss dance lessons for a long time. It is harder now, because you closed your activity relatively recently, but in time you will develop another routine. There are pensioners' clubs here where various activities are held, from painting to dance afternoons. Obviously, I am not registered with any club. Last night's concert brought a lot of pain to my soul because it reminded me of my mother, who really liked this kind of shows and who had been with us many times at that performance hall. I remembered her last days, when she would just sit in bed and I would feed her with a spoon. It seemed unfair to me that I would be there without her.  When I lost my father, it took me two years to recover, I don't know how it will be this time.
