the races where rained out :( it was so misty that it was deemed unsafe because it is held in the ocean. so that was a bummer.
Glad you got off early and got to see family. we didn't do anything special yesterday. But we did wake up just before 12pm to pray the New Year in.
Having my Mom and stepdad around for a bbq later. With his parkinsons it is more work than pleasure, but they also need something nice to do, so we do.

Happy New Year Mary. Thank you most kindly for the fpm pd. I sure hope you enjoy a day off with some rest and relaxation. Nothing will be open tomorrow, so poor Keeko will have to wait until Friday. But I'm going to get a hold of the vet as soon as I can. They may have to put her on antibiotics if there's any abscess there. I'll find out. I'm so tired tonight. I don't think I will stay up till midnight. I honestly don't care.
I got a book for Christmas so I'm going to do some reading. Have a good night Mary and a prosperous magical 2026! (((HUGS)))
