Cloudy day here today with the temperature at about 5° so the balcony window is closed & the cat is understanding as I did open it briefly & he got a gust of wind in the face
Still looking for a violet fly but so far am just wasting gold

Happy Thursday Mary. What a day. I went outside today and had to cut back a bunch of raspberry canes to get to the side of the house. I used a bread knife, cause I don't know where Rudy put the shears. So many things for the yard I don't know where they are!! But I did it. I found the pipe that used to collect the rainwater and help fill the cistern! So I fixed it. And if we get a couple of good rainy days it will help to fill the cistern much quicker than pulling up the pump from the well! That really made me happy to get that done! Now I want to relax. I got a fire going in here but not a big one cause its fairly warm out. Everything is melting. There's no snow on my car. That's good. Never had to clean it off.
Tomorrow I go to the city for an ultra sound to see what was up with my swollen mouth. That's in the afternoon. Then a quick trip to buy a few things and home again. No going out again till church on Sunday.
I hope your day went well. It will be nice to come home to hubby I am sure. And a nice weekend spent together.

We cleverly bathed Rylee and Jojo on Tuesday - Rylee is on a show on Friday. I now have to keep him clean until then. We've had snow and then rain so our yard is a mud pit. Have you ever tried to keep an ACD clean in the Fall? The squirrels are busily gathering for winter and are in there are each morning hoping for a dropped peanut from the Blue Jay feeder - Rylee and Jojo sit glued to the kitchen window watching - then "There's one!" barking ensues and they want out. Ordinarily I would just let them go out - but not today! Tonight Rylee goes to spend the night with Chuck as the show time is 8:30am and he's in a better position to get there that early. I will go for 10am as I have to hide while he's in the ring. Six more hours to keep him clean - wish me luck! Happy Thursday.
