Good night Mary. I had a crazy day. 2 appts back to back thank goodness they were close in proximity. Had an ultra sound on my thyroid again. And a doctor's appt to schedule a simple surgery. No shopping either. It was nice to go and come home and not have to lug anything in except some paper work. It is crazy cold again tonight. I had to put a blanket on my legs even though I have a good fire. This is ridiculous.
I hope you have a terrific weekend. I have ordered wood for tomorrow. Then church on Sunday and meeting up with some old friends on Monday. Then I plan to stay home, unless we start the bible study? That is being talked about once a month. Guess we see when that happens. So grateful for the heater upstairs. Goodness it will be great to climb under the blankets tonight.

yes we sometimes forget the beauty we have all around us. everywhere has it's own beauty or special thing. I have been to the Kruger some many times and i do love it. It is really beautiful there, you forget that other people haven't seen it. It's like when we moved down to this little beach town. we had a gentleman who helped us with odds and ends in Jozi, when we were there. He had never seen the sea, so we asked him to help us with our move down and he could stay a week with us by the sea. i wish you could have seen his face the first time he saw the see.
we are not wealthy by any means, but we have a wealth of beauty that surrounds us. i need to remind myself of that when the weather is being miserable and the wind is blowing ......lolz
