Glad your chimney is sorted and a good time was had by all. Glad your trees have survived and lived to produce a bit.
Weather is bitter cold our zero is your -18 with a fierce wind. The kind that sticks your nostrils together when you run for the post. We actually got an emergency warning for snow squalls. They are putting them in the same category as tornadoes. This level of cold is more extreme than what we usually get, while the snow amounts are not. Areas to the south of us are covered in ice. At least we have the tools to deal with the snow.
Jill has snuggled under the quilt next to me and I am having to fend off Tillie and Mac who get attitude over who gets to sit next to me. I am letting Jill have the snuggle since she rarely wants a cuddle.
Days are getting a bit longer so spring will return. A shop has heirloom tomatoes that I think I will preorder: Green zebra, Nebraska wedding, and midnight snack cherry.
