Aww Murdo was providing for you! I had a Maine coon cat named Mischa who would bring me garter snakes on the shower mat and leave headless mice beside the toilet. I would always return the garter snakes back to the garden and encourage them to eat more bugs. This was in Texas where we had giant Palmetto roaches euphemistically called water bugs since they came up the sewer lines. Even the cats left them alone.
