We’re lucky as our drive is the easiest to go on to, being at the top of the cul de sac. The others are a tight fit to swing roubd into those drives. The bungalow over the road was sold to a father & son, he got talking to the lady next door. Had it all worked out, his sons car on the drive, the other outside on our drive. She told him it was our drive. One Sunday, we were dashing to the vets with the dog (always a weekend when he’s bad) he asked Trevor to show him where to park. They we moving in the following Thursday. Anyhoo, on the Wednesday the board went for sale again. The relief was great lol. We could put a couple of plant pots there but then that’s where the kids park when the come. There was a little fence, the whole estate was the same, but pots have rotted years ago & have been removed before we came here. That defined better & you could see it’s our drive. The main offender comes right across, close to our car, so you can’t tell me he doesn’t know. I was talking to a neighbour on the doorstep last week when he pulled up. He just sat there, engine running we were talking for ages, think he was hoping I’d come in & shut the door. In the end he had to get out. The brass neck on him. I wanted to say something when it started but was told to say nothing as it would be for long, over 2 years later, here we are lol xx

Thanks to British Gas. A few others have done it but not for long. We’ve had it the way through wibter which has been great with big thick things especially.
I can imagine car not staying clean parked on the road. Previous owner got 7 cars on our drive. If you lived closer, you could have parked on ours 😎, bit of a walk home 😂. Henry over the road, has dementia & the folks who come to see him park on our drive, they don’t know it’s ours & we don’t want to say anything but if the time comes & they move him & sell the bungalow, whoever moves in will have it nicely explained to them. You can’t tell where the path ends. If I was on my own, I’d be out with a paint pot & putting house number down 🙄🫣😂😂 xx

Can’t be bad lol. Is it through a card, after so many, you qualify for a free one?
A friend goes to the Vineyard a couple of times a week after aqua. They get cards, one girl marks a few extra off & it seems she gets a free coffee at least on one visit each week lol. I wouldn’t dare.
Trevor got the car washed, bird poo on it. Be more on before long 🙈🫣🤭. Xx

Well, I’ll not see you until my eyes are done 🫣😂😂.
I’ve not been out, the wind is wicked but Trevor says it’s not really cold. It feels draughty, wind seems to be coming in under the doors lol. Roads are always extra cray on Fridays. Should be a bit quieter now the schools are off. No one will go far on Sunday, but I bet a few still turn out only to be disappointed shops are closed. Xxx

Ah, you should have called for a glass of water 😉. They were putting those lights up when I went to get my nails done. Chows up Whinfield road as well. I hear Cockerton continues to be as hectic as ever.
Sounds like Rose had a lovely day, even better with money to spend in the toy shop. Bet it’s heaving up today.   We were looking to get fish n chips from Yarm Road, we order online but they’re not taking orders, just turn up & queue. Didn’t fancy that so had our own out of the freezer lol. Very nice but not quite the same.
That wind is really picking up now but the sun is out & hopefully stays awhile. Lounge is warming up & the dog is sunbathing on the carpet 🤣 xx
