My first wedding was May 1980
Second was June 87. Both decent days but not overly warm. June can be ropey, we always go away to celebrate our Anniversary. Been lucky last 2 years when it was very hot. Hopefully third time lucky this year.
My daughter married on July 1st. It was a glorious hot day. The World Cup was on 🙄. Most of the men disappeared as England were playing lol. My son originally chose June for their wedding but Covid came so it was August 2021, their 4th attempt, thanks to Boris making promises about weddings only for him to announce that although they could take place. Guests couldn’t mingle, we’d have been stuck in a seat all day. Not a wedding day really. Not a happy memory is it.  That sun is trying but at least it’s a lot brighter than yesterday xx
