Cannot be a red egg.  Once the chick hatches if it isn’t orange than you need to keep trying all over again and one of them will come out orange.

When the Easter Bunny that you spot drops an egg in your nest it has to be one of these colors in order to hatch an orange chick.  Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet eggs (dropped by the Easter Bunny!)

You are so welcome and good luck. It may take a bit of time but you'll get it. Just keep spotting those bunnies with empty nests available for the eggs  to land in your garden.

First you need to make sure you have an empty nest, more than one if you have room for them. then you begin to spot Easter Bunnies in other gardens and eggs will fall into the nest. Then you make sure your seed plates are out and others will spot the chicks for you. Sometimes the outer shell can be a different color than the chick so don't throw any away. Let them all get spotted until you get your orange chick

Just to clarify Rita, you need to have the egg that hatches the orange chick for someone to spot to complete your quest.

yes but they need YOU to have an egg so that they can bring the chick.  The chick will not come if you don't have an egg.

ahhh I get it and that is an orange chick not the big one.

OK you still need to hunt for eggs to go to your nest so bunny hunting is needed,  Keep going until you get an orange egg but you must have an egg for people to get to hatch.
I am level VIII and I have been trying to get violet eggs with no luck.  Got green eggs 5x in a row  si let a couple hatch and kept dumping the rest,  good luck with the hunt but until you have an orange egg in your nest there will be no chick,  look in the wild life section for info or click on the square and it will explain better
