Gosh no good bakeries near you either....Today I saw you current prime Minister at Jimmy Carters funeral.  I thought it was nice to see other heads of states there.

Eggs are about the same here.  Ugh.  Most people do not realize it takes a chicken about a year to mature enough to lay.  Sigh.

Hard to get ahead

I agree it seems we cannot get a break.  I was wondering did your bakery have trouble getting eggs?  They are 6.00 a dozen here.  I did not think I needed any at that price.   I was going to bake tomorrow,  but maybe not.  Ha....we do not have any bakeries near us, so bakery has to come from the grocer, and it is just not the same.  Have a nice rest of the week

Boy we both need help.  If Elon Musk stays out of your politics that will be a good thing.  Just read that Facebook is getting rid of lies and falsehoods posted on their on line platforms.  Could it be our future president is a liar of such promotions that he told nearly 40,000 in just his first term.  I hope your inflation and health care improves.   Here will continue to be bad.  Our new ass.ole wants to get rid of The ACA in favor of tax cuts for the rich.  Right now ppl like Musk and Bezos pay zero, and me on retirement pay 34%.  Plus house taxes of 12,000.00 a year.

Oh man dear.  I hope you at least had a gas stove to make cocoa.   Brrrrrrrr.  I assume what you had yesterday will be here by Friday. I had to use the snow blower once already as we have a blind couple that walks past our home twice a day  The snow plow has plowed and dropped salt once.  I will go out at midnight and again at 6am so Dan and Cheryl can get to work safely.  They are lively neighbors,  and we all make sure our blocks are pretty much done so they can get to the bus.  I also am on the main drag for kids who walk to school, so that is the othercreason.  I did see one girl about 12 fall , but she said she was OK when I asked.  I saw her near the rentals, so the walks are rarely done on a timely basis.  Time to rub down my back. 

Have a great great holiday.   My favorite gifts do not come from the store, they are homemade.   My autistic niece makes me cookies.   The taste is not the greatest,  but she is a lovely young woman.  She will also talk to m, but not with other folks.  That brings me joy.  Embrace your joy this season.

Glad to hear you have cool nights.  I spent hours today pulling weeds between our place and neighbors.   Contractors will need lots of room bringing in cabinets and putting in windows next month.  We were cooler today and that helps.   Have a nice rest of the week

WOW.....I hate storms like we are getting this year.  We had flood alerts until last night, and today sun but about 50F.  Glad you did not have trees hit your lines.  Our house has an electric pole in our yard, but there is a path filled with garbage trees.  I am waiting for that storm, but do not really worry about tornadoes near Lake Michigan.  The closest one I can remember was about 4 miles from the lake.  I should not talk tho, we could have something during the next storm.  Take care sweetie  :)

Morning beautiful.   It is 47f brrrrrrrr.  Of course I planted annuals and I thought with such a warm winter maybe...  oh well time to hit up the garden center again.  Have a lovely week...j
