Hi Wilma I went to visit Geoff in the morning for a wee change to have a free afternoon I had not been home long when I got a call from the hospital saying he had had a fall I asked them to keep me informed..........I heard nothing! I rang at 9 they had taken him to AnE but hadnt heard since She said she would keep me informed but still nothing! I hope I can sleep tonight!! goodnight best pal xxxx

Hi Wilma that was a nice wee run you had today I was thinking at first Aberfoyle was Aberfeldy and it always reminds me of when Gordon and I got married we did a wee tour of Scotland and the place we loved the best was Aberfeldy we had a great wee BnB the landlady was called Mrs Salmon we had a fantastic singsong night in the Square and we strolled up the "Birks" the next day it was lovely! We should have a wee night somewhere like that sometime! Night night my Bestie Have a good day the morn xxxx

Hi Wilma there is a bit of news today. Geoff was moved on to the respiratory ward when they did the Bronoscopy they spotted something on his lung they say they are not sure what it is but they are going to investigate furthur! I am gutted !  I just hope it is something they can work on! Keep us in your thoughts flower Sending love xxxx

Hi Wilma not much to report as there were no consultants on today! I really think they should make an appointment with Geoff and I to discuss the results and talk about where they go from here! May came round tonight for a good chat that really cheered me up It is lovely to have such good friends Night night My lovely friend xxxxx

Hi Wilma sorry you could not find the long message about Geoff I will make up for it tomorrow! I am so shattered tonight I am going to bed soon when I have done a wee bit of watering!The Consultant is going to do the examination by camera again but with a bigger camera whcih also has a thicker tube to have a better look at his lungs he is not convinced it is his COPD that is causing his illness I am just praying he finds something that can be cured ! I will tell you more when I find out more wee pal! I am supposed to be having another day off tomorrow but I might go for at least an hour! (he says I need a rest) Night night sweetie sleep well xxxx

Hi Wilma Yes Geoff did say it would me good to have a day off! and I did enjoy it the only thing G has not got his phone with him and I felt I wanted to ring and just say "are you ok?"  however I did enjoy it! He has to have a camera down to look at his lungs to check what it was they saw on the xray We spoke to the leader of the Respiratory Team yesterday He was a lovely man and explained things in terms that we understood ! That is happening on Tuesday so fingers crossed it will be something they can treat! They did assume it was his COPD they are checking as not a lot can be done for that besides making them comfortable! Something else could be more treatable! Thank you again for being there for me like you say it is a shame you are not down here you would always be welcome in my wee hoose! xxxx
