Mum was utterly adored, admired, respected and sometimes feared lol 😂 by her son-in-law, daughter-in-law,  sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
She was a legend, warrior and a force to be reckoned with.
We are super lucky to have had her.
Our lives will never be the same.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband, my lifelong partner of forty years in March and have been facing anticipatory grief since Feb 2020 then actual grief for the last six months.I had to accept and allow this very painful and uncomfortable emotions flow through me in order to begin to heal. I have cried for six months here in my own and just when I felt ready to face a world that was going on without me , I discovered I have a large ovarian cyst and am due to have major surgery this coming Friday. It’s okay, yes it’s scary but at least the strength gained from recent long struggles is that I can be tough when tough is my only option. Be kind to yourself. Let the tears flow. I did when my beautiful mother died fifteen years ago. She would have expected nothing less ! It’s our way of telling ourselves and them that we loved them deeply and that they are not forgotten l. Sending so much love and empathy to you. It’s very raw right now and you would benefit from talking to those who are there for you who will allow you to express your feelings without trying to fix it just letting you know they are there to listen and to have a good supply of handkerchiefs.
