Did you and Pete not get the flu shot?  I know we could still get the flu even though we had the shot as the flu mutates.  I get my flu shot yearly along with the Covid shot.  I haven't had the flu in years.

I have been cleaning my apartment so not sure if I am fighting a cold or if it's just allergies.  A cold has been passed around at my church, both my minister and organist have had it.

I'm glad to hear you're on the mend.
