Good Afternoon. I have just got home maybe a half hour ago. Just sitting with a coffee now. I did get 3 great finds.
I got a Lisa Gardner book for 25 cents
A Karen Slaughter book for 25 cents also.
Both of those authors are good, I have read some of their work before.
And I got a book by D.Brian Shafter. I have never heard of him before. The book is called Chronicles of the host. Its book 1 .. Exile of Lucifer.
There are 5 parts to the series but I left the other 4 in The book store. Its 8 dollars each. That is a bit less then half of the cover price. But as I do not know the author I won't take a chance on getting them all at once. Its a bit of money.
We also went to an inside flea market. I got a few odds and ends. Spent 10 dollars.. lol 
So yes, a pretty good day out.
I hope the soreness does not act up to badly. Its so easy to over do at times. But a good sore I imagine x

Its not very warm here this week and its going to 10 degrees below freezing tonight. And still below freezing tomorrow.. We are below normal temps for this time of year.
I did put a few things in the kitchen freezer but mostly just loaded my laundry baskets up and set them out of the rooms where we do not have any heat.
Its only a small freezer. The second smallest you can buy. But its only 2 of us so its enough.

I hope you have a lovely day out and at the gym. We are planning on going in the other direction tomorrow. An hour to the south takes us to our normal shopping district and an hour north takes us to the valley. Where I grew up. There is a place called book galore there. They are a used book shop. We will go there to look around. We go a few times a year. They have a section where the books are 25 cents each. But mostly they are half off the cover price on other stuff. He has a decent shop and very well organized and has newer books. Anything he has older he puts in the pile that is a quarter.

We will have to go to another town to get the groceries though. I really am not fond of the area as its so crowded and I am not used to large crowds any longer. But we will make a day of it and try to enjoy our day out.

I got encouraged to clean that freezer. Yay. There was quite a bit of ice build up so good to have it done.
Also gave me a good idea just how much frozen potato I had left.

Yes, its easy for stuff to be lost in the freezer for sure. Always a good idea to organize it well. Mind you mine is not and I did not get it cleaned out this winter either. I like to do it then as I can put the food out in the woodshed and its cold out there .. then just take my time cleaning it and getting all the ice off it. It really is a bit of a pain but you know I really have to do it. Hummm. Today ? Next week ? LOL

I hope you had a good day at Rotary. Its good you can get out and keep your mind on other stuff. Its very healthy.

I make it a point to see him off to work. After losing my son without having the opportunity to say good by or that I loved him I now make sure it will not happen with Stephen. Its important to me.
Yes, we still have snow. It will snow some today but then change to rain. But our weather is going to have very low lows this week. Spring is not being very spring like. But I hear its good for the people tapping trees for maple syrup. This is the type of weather they need. So that is a plus.
Its good to get some errands and chores done. I have not a lot to do today but we did get a decent buy on some onions and there are to many to keep fresh so I will process some more and get them in the freezer.  Its so stupid but they had 10 lbs for less then 5 dollars and then the next amount was 3 lbs for  over 3 dollars. And if you buy just 1 onion its the cost of your first child.. LOL
I am grateful to have a freezer to be able to store some.

I slept in this morning some. Stephen had to go to work early and I got up to see him off but then went back to bed. I don't think I slept deeply but I did get some rest so it was still good. I rarely sleep in but I just felt I needed it I guess.

Not a lot going on here. Its going up over freezing for a few days but by Saturday night its going to 10 below freezing. There will be a few nights like that. Burr.. time to get the winter woolies organized.

You know we are getting some sun. They called for mixed clouds and a wee peek of sun but its been mostly sunny all day 🌞🌞🌞 Woot...
Its frustrating when bugs and critters come and eat our plants. Dang things..
Awe. its nice you are a kitty mommy. It seems they are using the flower garden for a litter box. Maybe a real litter box next to the flower bed would entice them to try to relocate where they go .. ??  Its hard to say as I am not sure they would be interested but would be better for sure to not get into their leavings by accident.
I would not try eating the mushrooms either. I am not educated enough nor fool hardy enough to eat the wrong type. I will leave it to the professionals and just buy some at the store.

Its well below freezing out but they say its going to be plus 5 at the warmest today. That will be nice. I wait patiently for the day where its comfortable temps. I do tend to get tired of always having on layers. It tends to get so bulky feeling and constrictive.
I had such a odd dream last night. I needed to know the combination code to unlock my locker. I only guessed at the numbers and I had one correct. I wonder if its because I am doing candys and need to figure out the color codes. Or if its because I don't remember number sequences easily. I don't know. Odd but not terrifying so that is a win.

We got a lot of snow here on the south shore and even the schools are cancelled. The special weather statement is still on, they are saying more snow and freezing drizzle. I don't know what will shake out of all this in the end. Glad to still have power and heat and Stephen stayed home and is safe from the frozen roads. Its been a real messy winter this year. But its going to end eventually. LOL

I hope all is well in your area. Seeing the floods on the news really drives home how the weather is impacting everywhere now a days.
