I hope you are having a nice day.
We got home a bit ago but then went to the tree lot to cut and tie the last 2 trees we need for family. Its cold over there. Burr...
But I am happy that its done before a huge storm made the work even harder. Those people will be wanting the trees soon I would think. And its almost impossible to do during the week as it gets dark so early. Not much time after a work day for that.

Anyway, its not worth opening my garden right now as it will need baby sitting and its almost time for me to start our supper and do some laundry.

I do hope you are well rested and Jeff is doing good still

Oh my goodness. I would not have thought of that. I am glad they made you an appointment. Seems a little odd but maybe that is how they keep things running so as someone is not waiting to long ?

How did your beach day go? I hope the medicine works swiftly for Jeff. No fun not being able to get around as much as one would like.

We have some sunshine here right now. But the forecast is for a cloudy day, so will try to enjoy what we have at the moment. High winds coming in again tonight. Uug...  robs the house of the heat. Hard to keep things warm like that. But alas.. we live on a hill and its mostly windy here even in summer. Just have to add another warm sweater on.

I think I have most of the stuff done that I wanted to do this morning. Its amazing how the little jobs I do daily seem to take a big part of the day up. LOL.. But that is ok. It gives my day some structure and that is important.

No, I only made the one. I have one pan that works so well with the recipe. I have other pans but I don't like them as well, the sizes just don't work out.

But that is ok. I am just happy to have the one done.

I hope you are resting well and Jeff is having some relief from his pain.
I have a banana bread in the oven. I hope it turns out well as I want to gift this one to my mother in law. When its cooled I will wrap it in parchment paper and label it and put some cute tags on it. Then put it in a freezer bag and pop it in there until they come for their tree. I will make sure Karen ( Stephen's sister ) knows to put it right into the fridge or freezer again. I would expect a text msg soon asking for their tree. Mama Rose wants it but as close to Christmas as possible. And then down and out again. Not much time to enjoy it after all the time to get everything up. But to each their own.

I am looking at a pile of dirty dishes. LOL.. After this coffee I will get to work on that. I have a few more chores I would like to tackle today.
After work we need to get the car in for an oil change. We had an appointment a week ago but the Nor'Easter came and we re-scheduled.

You and Jeff are so kind and thoughtful. You have made a huge difference in Z's life.  I love you for you...

I am having a good day. Was busy and went out and did some yard work too. We are getting rain ? and then freezing temps. So I tried to take the snow down as best I could in part of the driveway that blew back in. That way it won't turn into hard packed ice. Was not a lot as we worked on it yesterday.
