I guess your hot summer put a lot of strain on the waterways hence the restrictions. 

Yes, I looked up that chair.  Very fascinating.  Yes, we are crazy right now eating copious amount of fresh fruit and vegetables.  We have a wonderful market that has the very best fresh produce.  A little distance but well worth it.  Everything still on tap... strawberries, raspberries, blueberries but now come the peaches, pears even, still cherries, love the green beans (maybe to hot for yours to do well).  Corn, etc. etc.  Love it.

I will call it a night too as it's midnight here. I have had a busy day with my real chicks hatching 7 up to now. Also keeping an eye on my granddaughters whilst my daughter was planting a new lawn.... haha her half English blood prevails over her Sardinian. Her memories of her grandad always mowing his garden when she went on her many visits to my parents back home.

Oh, you sound like you are really enjoying yourself.  Yes, I have enjoyed the summer here too.  The weather didn't get too hot which was perfect for me.  The plants on my deck have gone mad, they are huge and loving whatever is happening to them.  I'm not going far afield but that's okay.  Alastair went with his daughter and grandson to Drumheller (if you want to look it up).  Dinosaur museum.  11 year old in their element.  I enjoyed the break, cleaners in and got every nook and cranny.  I'm sorting through 'stuff' - taking inventory and getting rid of lots.

I found my last one was very quick less than a week to get both the violet and the rainbow. I was very surprised as they usually took up to a month.

Sorry for you that it wasn't what you needed. I will try and stalk as much as I can even though I need to go out. I will try and pop in on my mobile phone....... granddaughters permitting (3 year old and 3 months)
