I was hoping that it was just severely delayed and would turn up, but that hope has faded. We seem to have often had problems with our post to each other. If I remember rightly, one of your birthday cards that I sent in previous years didn't arrive for quite a few days,and I started posting them by recorded delivery. Then last year (?) I used normal first class and you never got it. Now it appears to have happened again. It's a very poor service.

The snow we had didn't last the day and we've had none since, though like you we've had frost at night. I didn't appreciate how cold the wind was yesterday and wasn't dressed warmly enough - I was frozen when we got home!

I'm assuming that you still haven't received your car, Kareen? I will be making a claim to Royal Mail, more on principal than anything else as I believe the compensation may well be 6 x 1st class stamps, if indeed they pay it. I will make another gift for you, but it will take some time, I'm afraid! xx

Forgot to say - we've had snow overnight! Not much, and it's melting thank goodness.

I think the dream must have been because I was thinking about you and I had also exchanged a few messages about Strictly with a friend 😂 My Stuart has two left feet too, and no sense of rhythm,.  Maybe it goes with the name.

You've hit the nail on the head about the unknown being very hard to deal with. Parking has been a nightmare at every major hospital I've ever been to. Cheltenham have a parking pass system for oncology patients though, which I think is very good. It's supplied through the Macmillan shop there, so I don't know if Macmillan fund it.

I'm glad to hear that you weren't too late home, despite the faulty machine, and I hope it wasn't too stressful having to wait? How is Stuart feeling today? And how are you? It's just as stressful and tiring for you too.  I had a dream about you last night - you messaged me that you and Stuart had taken up ballroom dancing!
