Omg Paula! No wonder you’ve been awol from fl. I know you’ve said in the past that you never know how busy you’re going to be but I had no idea that there could be times like this. It definitely does sound major back breaking work & you really do deserve rest days now. Hoping there’s not too much for you to catch up on at home & that you will have a duvet day.
I’ve done brilliant getting rid of stuff & have painted most the living room, i wasn’t able to do much today because my back wouldn’t let me, I’ve not been able to stand for even the shortest amount of time before my backs gone again. New sofa & chair have arrived & Its beautiful very comfortable but huge, it fits in but juts out over the arch which leads into the adjoining room which is my craft crap end. I can live with it but need to try balance the room better. Sofas definitely going to be lovely when kids all come visit because they’ll be able to sit down, the chairs perfect for Pete he get get up much easier & he actually has to sit in it properly rather than having arm over back cushion on his sofa which used to drive me nuts. I’m going to rearrange storage (Ikea kallax) units & see if I like it better but I’m giving it another days thinking before moving stuff only to move it back again. Some toys I’d held back I’ve now sorted again & have more for charity shop & the special bits are going to my best friends new granddaughter who was born on 18th Jan, I know anything I pass onto her will be looked after & loved before being passed onto someone else. Hope you’re sleeping now & I’ll look forward to seeing you in a couple of days x

hi Paula, wow   you were busy. All to a  good cause, well done to you and your  colleagues. I have  done more wall papering, just one little area to finish tomorrow. The paper looks  pretty but is rubbish. It tears easily and also  wrinkles, but it will have to stay now. The room is  only used when family visit. Sleep well  xx

I’m going tired & achey but happy with progress I made in decorating today, I’ve manage to put some things back organised but no idea if I’ll keep furniture & toys where they are or juggle them around until I like how they’re placed. Just climbed into bed until meds have kicked in enough to shower, I feel grotty!

1st coats on biggest wall, looks patchy as 1st coats do but once dry & 2nd coat on it’ll have to do!

Pete & Steve here & I can get them to do some painting, I’m a bit of a perfectionist & if they do it wrong I’d grumble & do it myself so they might as well step back & wait until I ask 😂 I’ll be playing this evening x

I’ve just been lucky really as not been in fl very much. Cleared more that’s gone to tip & now decided to paint the biggest wall 1st & then things can go back & not be moved again. I did sleep a few hours but feel tired today 🥱
