It is a bit of a struggle! ….. Happily the weather has been better and the house isn’t so cold, having got more curtains up! We went to the Communion Service at St. Leonard’s Seaford this morning! Very disappointing ….. it is very LOW Church, loads of the service missed out, 5 hymns (mostly dreary🥴) and a sermon that took about 30 minutes! 😱😱😱😫😫😫😫😫 we heard the ringing (on six, though an 8 bell tower) rounds and call changes, but annoyingly they call down, so that will be challenging to begin with! We are going to go to the Practice Night next Tuesday at 7pm. I contacted the Tower Captain and they sound like a weak group, but with 23 ringers apparently! We are going to view a house next Friday, which has come up in the area we are interested in, but it looks like it would need cavity wall insulation and probably other things too! We are wondering what the hell we are doing here at the moment! I have always struggled in January and February though and what with the Covid shambles, it makes it harder! Well you did ask! Hope you are OK, as we are really! Xxxxxx
