Hi Lyn, it sounds very interesting and I would enjoy there...love Starry Night, and other Van Gogh's paintings. I made a presentation for pupils, and put there many of his paintings as examples for something...I came to my senses later, lol  ;-)) and had to remove some of them, as children need to see work of various artists, it's not right to see  mostly Van Gogh's work ;-) , I know that...but really adore his paintings...my son sent me a short and very interesting video clip from series Doctor Who, in which Van Gogh appears.  The Doctor and Amy take Vincent Van Gogh - who struggled to sell a single painting in his own lifetime - to a Paris art Gallery in the year 2010.  It's very touching scene, and I wish he had actually experienced it in his lifetime. It is unfortunate that he became a famous and recognized artist only after his death. Here is the link of the video:

Hi, I can imagine how impressive the pictures are in those rooms as I found Frameless on Google and saw roughly what it looks like. I wish I could visit that exhibition! The whole idea is brilliant! How could it occur to someone to do such a thing!!? I would especially enjoy in the ,,Impressionism-room''. Love that art style and painters like Claude Monet. Actually, Vincent van Gogh is my most favorite painter.

Hi Lyn, yes there is so much to learn. The art program includes materials and techniques, artistic elements in painting, architecture, sculpture such as line, color, surface, space, texture, and so on, types of composition, principles of composition, various artists as examples, something of art history in the world  and in our country...styles like cubism etc are mentioned sometimes...and in every lesson the children apply or try to apply the knowledge in their works.

Hi Lyn :)) Yes I have more work, but it's not hard for me, as I love art and teaching art. That's why I agreed to teach art when the director asked me if I wanted to teach it...actually, there is not much teaching, the biggest part is student's work...for me the worst part was planning teaching units at the beginning of school year, and now I enjoy, and each school art class goes by very quickly...I have many books about art, and also I can find a lot of information about art on the internet, so teaching is not a problem for me :))) and of course it's nice to get 25% bigger salary ;-) as I  have that much  overtime work now...
We also had a lot of rain last few days, and I don't like rain...it's pretty cold lately, but I heard the sunny and warm days will be back soon.
Glad you enjoyed with your friends and in the theater :))) and glad you had a nice time for Jeff's birthday. That's for sure nicer than spending time in Fairyland ;-)))

Hi Lyn, nice to hear from you :)) I'm writing to you now, because just saw your message.
The class could be better, but it's not bad. I have the youngest studehts now - they are first grade. Also, this school year I teach older students Art, as the school couldn't find professional teacher for this subject. So, I have more work at school, and bigger salary ;-) , and had a lot of paper work at the beginning of school. How are you? Any news there?
