Belated happy birthday Amanda. We are now the same age 🥰 I turned 55 in March.
I have one son who lives with me and he pays a substantial amount to me each week for his board plus I am currently on a job seeking benefit with a medical certificate, they give me an accommodation supplement and base rate of benefit that is means tested taking into account that I have a 13 yo. Plus I receive child support monthly. It isn't easy with all the price increases but I'm comfortable and still manage to put away savings etc.
